Introduction

This tutorial will walk you through the sign up process.

Register your account and login

Go to the Shaipup homepage and click the LOG IN button.

Click the REGISTER button
Enter your details in the registration form and click SIGN UP
- A username can only contain letters and numbers (no spaces)
- The password needs to be at least 10 characters long
- You should be met with a message asking you to verify your email address with the service.

Click the link in the email sent you by TerraCipher to verify your account. Please also check your spam folder if you can't find the verification email in your main inbox.

Go back to the Shaipup homepage and login using the details provided during registration. If your login is successful, you should be taken to the dashboard for your new account:

Please note that only users registered with an organisation are able to host their own Shaips. If you are a new user, you must register an organisation and have it approved before you can host Shaips.

Adding a Shaip to your library

From your dashboard, click the SHAIP LIBRARY button on the dashboard sidebar
From the SHAIP LIBRARY tab, you can click either the Catalogue button at the top of the page, or the GO TO MARKETPLACE button at the center of the screen.
Once you are on the Catalogue page, the only Shaips you will have immediate access to are labelled Open Access, while Restricted Access Shaips require you to request permission from the Shaip owner to use that Shaip. To go to that Shaips page, click the TEST SHAIP button on the card of the Shaip you want to add.
Once on the page of the Shaip you want to add, click the ADD SHAIP TO LIBRARY button to add it to your library.
- When successfully added, the button should change to GO TO SHAIP, which, when pressed, will take you back to your Shaip library on the dashboard
- If the button says REQUEST ACCESS, **this means that the Shaip has Restricted Access, and you won’t be able to access it before the organisation that hosts the Shaip accepts your request.
From your library, you can see the Shaip is now a part of your library
